mobile phone with 5mx

Hi everybody,

Does anyone know whether I can use my 5mx with Alcatel 715 to check email and send fax; just like I use it with Nokia 8250? Any idea?

Having just looked at Alcatel's website, I see it is a GPRS phone with an Infrared port so I would expect it to work OK with a Psion. Obviously it would be helpful to get confirmation from someone using the particular combination, but in principle it should work.
