I have had a problem for the past couple of weeks. I have been unable to sync my palm 505 with outlook. I was trying to get my outlook express to work with my outlook and after tht I've been experiencing the problem.

The message I get is:

There is a conflicting edit to the user note in the pocketmirror folder in outlook. Please resolve the conflict and sync again.

I have tried everything the help screen has told me with no luck. I am new to this part of troublshooting and would appreciate any help anyone could provide to me.

When you link up the Chapura conduit to Outlook it puts a "note" with your user name in the Outlook notes. You may want to delete that user name note and reinstall the conduit either from the Palm Install CD or by downloading the most recent version from Chapura.com. The phone tech support at Chapura is super. If your are hesitant about going it alone just give them a call. 251 470-1979.

What you can do is to delete the sticky note first:

1. In Outlook, click on the View menu, then click Folder List. A folder named Pocket Mirror will be somewhere in there.

2. Select Pocket Mirror, and on the right hand side, you'll see a yellow sticky note with your username on it. Delete this note.

3. Hotsync! You don't need to bother re-installing Pocket Mirror. Just go ahead and hotsync and it should work. If not, call Chapura...

i'm getting the same problem, with a slight twist. delete the note, syncs fine, and puts another note back. then it won't sync until the 'new note' is deleted.

any ideas?
