charging with a car adapter

Using my synch cable with USB car adapters doesn't appear to charge my Treo 755p. I've tried it with 3 different adapters in two different cars.

Any thoughts why it might not be working?

Hi david...seems like you have a hardware issue already since youve tried different chargers. Its time for u to send the unit to repair.Have u tried a different battery also?

But the phone charges just fine when attached to a computer or when plugged into an AC outlet. Any additional thoughts?

hmm...it seems the issue is not the phone if thats the case..i could be your car adapter....u may try using the car adapter to a different vehicle instead.

As I mentioned in my original post, I've tried this in two different cars. Also, I'm able to charge my blackberry with these adapters just fine in either car.

The mystery deepens?

hmm....yup..

its seems its really a hardware issue...thats what i think...Issues for charging in your phone might be intermittent and happens only when you charged it using a car adapter..Where you from david? :-)
