Windows Mobile 6 Connect to Oracle 10g Database

Hi,

I'm trying to migrate my Oracle Forms to Windows mobile applications.

I need to connect from a windows mobile 6 PDA to an Oracle 10g Database hosted on my Windows XP machine.

I created a web service to connect but unfortunately the response time is very slow.

Can anyone advice how to connect from a windows mobile 6 to Oracle 10g directly.

Have you tried Oracle Mobile Client for Windows Mobile 6?

Well i'm trying to figure out why the call to the web service from a windows mobile application is taking 1 sec while invoking the web service directly takes only 16ms.

can anyone advice

N.B : i would reconsider using Oracle Mobile Client if call continue to take much time
