Searching for ATT Blackberry 6710...

Currently an ATT GSM subscriber using the Nokia 8390 freebie phone....I've had no luck locating a Blackberry 6710..I've called every store in my city (Houston TX) and the GSM department (877-400-1080) is clueless..Has any ATT user out there successfully procured a 6710????

According to the AT&T Wireless web site (http://www.attws.com/business/data/individual/blackberry/) the BlackBerry 6710 is available through AT&T Wireless Sales Representatives or by calling 877 400-1080.

I got my through T-Mobile so I can't give you much more information...

Thanks for the info...I've called this number a few times and each time I'm told that the unit is not available via direct/phone order and I'm instructed to call my local store(s)...All 10+ stores in Houston either a) do not have it or b) have never even heard of it and have no clue when or if they will be receiving them!!!!!! Simply amazing........

How annoying (and unprofessional) of AT&T Wireless. AT&T WS keeps calling me (from Houston, no less) but I haven't returned their calls (since I use T-Mobile <G>). If I get a better number to call, I will post it.

NJBlackBerry is right. It took me more than an hour (the second time--the first was not successful), but I called the same number just after Thanksgiving and got the 6710 one day later.

None of the AT&T Wireless stores stock the 6710. They do sell them through Telesales at 877 400-1080.
