Battery Life

I have owned a Palm V for 3 years. I just purchased a Palm 515. I never had any problems with the Palm V battery life. I am wondering if there are issues with the Palm 515 that do not exist with the V?

If so, what do you do if the battery inside the PDA dies - surely we cannot be expected to purchase a new PDA - is there anyone out there that has had experience with this? Thanks.

I have had some issues with battery life on my Palm 515. I had to do a soft reset to get the battery to reset itself so when I did Hot Sync the battery charged appropirately. My battery was running down every day.

Today I noticed that as soon as I used a program on the 515, my battery charge indicator dropped quite a bit. Not sure if I am going to have the same problem I had recently or not.

I owned the Palm VII and my batteries were used up frequently thus I went to 515 to not have to buy triple A batteries weekly.
