i got a ipaq ho3c series pda

it has a wireless and i cant get it to connect it is blowing my mind..is there a trick to get it to work..it scans and sees the sites but wont connect ..please help

ho3c is not a series name, HSTNH-H03C-WL is regulatory model number. there are 3 models under this, rx3100, rx3400 and rx3700 series. It will be easier to get support from any where using this instead.

As for your problem, where are you trying to connect, your own wifi network or public ones. Do you know that you are allowed to access these, can connect with laptop? There are a lot of issues that can be involved here, just need more info to narrow it down.

how can i find out the accual make of it then...and for the wireless it scans and finds my wifi ok..and it trys to coonect and it times out or something dont know the settings

rx3100 has 32mb of ROM, no camera
rx3400 has 32mb of ROM, camera
rx3700 has 64mb of ROM, camera
All three are running WM2003SE
- Turn off all your security temporary on your wifi router and set it to use 802.11B only (or mix mode) to see if you can connect, you iPAQ can only use WEP and 802.11B
- In the network settings - Start, Settings, Connections (tab), Connections, Advanced (tab), Select Networks and select "My Work Network" from both of the pull down lists. If you then tap the Edit... button under either list and the Proxy Settings (tab), the top box (This network connects to the Internet) should be checked but leave everything else on this page blank.
