i downloaded some japanese flashcard game and the letters werent comming up right, so i had to installed 2 font files under the windows/font file. they now work great, but for some fukking reason google maps, one of my most used programs, comes up with scrambled lettering. so i figured id just delete the fonts of move them to another folder when i want to use google.

BUT, the damn phone wont let me delete the files! or rename them. or cut, or move them. i cant even do it from my PC in windows explorer, nor will file assasin work on it. it says they are deleted in fileassasin, but they still remain... probably wasnt designed to delete across bluetooth to a PDA in the first place.

what do i do? i have FAR too much data on the phone to wipe it clean. i have backups, but what a nightmare just so i can use google maps again.

ps. ive uninstalled the flash card program, and google maps, reinstalled maps etc. no combo seems to work.

Have you tried soft reset it first? Then rename the extension (font1.ttf to font1.ttt) soft reset again then delete.
