can't search cities outside of a state

Hello: Basic question is I go to, say, search for an address and the list of cities always defaults to Texas. This is fine as long as I navigate in that state. All other point-to-point navigation and routing work fine. My actual location is indicated correctly. I'm visiting in Florida and can't input a city address outside of Texas. Any ideas? Thank you.

Sounds like you may not have too many maps loaded. What do you see when you ask to see detailed maps?.. Assuming you have all of CNNA 8 or 9 on an SD card you should see a whole bunch of maps which include all of North Americawhich of course would include FL.

Hi: I have half of the USA from east coast to Colorado. Not sure what the problem is.

On the address search screen you should see boxes for "City" and "Region". Change the value in "Region" to "All". You can do that by tapping on the box with the word "All" in it and you'll get a screen with a list of stuff to choose from.
