I recently discovered the Psience5 web site, and I'd like to contact Martin Guthrie to offer some software to be held on that site. However I noticed that the last update on his home page is fairly old (January 2008) and when I tried to send an email to the address on his contact page, it bounced because the email realm psience5.net wasn't recognised. Can anyone help with a contact address for martin, please?

Thanks

Ian

Hi Ian,

Welcome to the Psionscene!

As a Psioncollector an user myself I have been in contact with Martin several times. Unfortunately the emailadress on his site doesn't work anymore. Also my PC has crashed several times in a row, so any other emailadress I had, has been lost also. If anyone has still contact with him, please let me know. Last software I send him was the most searched for Geofox Colorshow. He still hasn't put it up on his site.

Can you send me a list of the software you have?

Regards,

Richard van Stappershoef

Hi Richard

It's of fairly niche interest - two translations of the Bible. One is the King James version, which I bought from PalmTop Software (now TomTom), and the other is the New International Version, which I bought from Sunrise Software (now part of the Wesley Owen Group). I've contacted both TomTom and Wesley Owen to see if they would be prepared to have the software posted for general consumption on the Psience5 web site; TomTom (after I explained that I didn't want to *buy* the software, just to post a copy that I already have) are consulting their legal department, and I haven't had a reply from Wesley Owen. When/if I hear from either of them I'll post again to let you know.

All the best

Ian

Hi Richard

I've been on the Psionscene for several years, under another identity - RainKap (a rearrangement of the letters of my name); however I'd forgotten the password for RainKap, so I was lazy and registered under a new alias.

Cheers

Ian

This becomes curiouser and curiouser! Having nothing better to do, I did a whois lookup of psience5.net, only to be told that the domain is no longer registered, and when I tried to ping psience5.net (NB not www.psience5.net) I got a "host not found" error - yet my browser finds http://psience5.net *and* http://www.psience5.net! Can anyone shed light on this, please?

Ian

Years ago Martin asks for donations for his domain.
Not long after this question he quit with the site.
So I think after the early days of 2008 there wasn't an update at his site anymore.

perhaps it is time to archive the website, as it seems It might no longer be available!

I downloaded the website but got over 261 file missing most images but also some zip files. If I ever get my home server up and running I'll host a copy!
