Is there software that will help keep the 515 from going on by mistake. Its a real pain to find your palm well drained of energy.
Ive just up graded from a Palm 3 (it passed away) and Im really enjoying the 515. But it just wont stay off!!!

Have you or are you using this product. Somewhere I read that this program caused a operation problem with the Palm 515.

I too have the problem with Palm coming on in my purse. This sounds like the solution. What is the difference between Stay Off and Stay Off Hacker?

My recommendation is based solely on what I have heard. I try to avoid using hacks, simply to avoid OS conflicts. Also, the only times that I've had a problem with an inadvertant turn on of the M515 is when removing the pda from a sled or cradle -- and then I've immediately seen it. I guess my case functions reasonably effectively to protect against inadvertant turn ons.

What kind of case are you using?
Im thinking about getting a hard case.
Any suggestion?

Personal preferences on cases are very diverse. I use a somewhat stiff leather case sold by Coach leathers. It allows me to carry business cards, some credit cards/drivers license, etc., as well as the Palm. I put this in either an outside suit pocket or a jacket pocket, or else in the briefcase or computer case. Have never had the Palm turn on.

However, many people would believe that this case setup is just way too huge. They typically don't carry a brief case, which I almost have to for my client meetings. If you want something that fits in your back or front pocket (unless you wear cargo pants), then you'll probably want a hard case. I've heard good things about the Palm case, also the Rhinoskin and some others.
