I tried loading an app that contained JPEG images, only to find out that SJ30 won't accept them. As lots of add-on apps have JPEGS, is there a way around this? Some software to download/buy? Or is Sony being particularly propietary in terms of images? Thanks in advance.

If the app can work with .jpgs it likely also comes with its own desktop pgm/conduit.

Use the Picturegear 4.6 lite program. Open your folder with the jpeg. Click once on the image to highlight it. Go to file and output services. Choose to sync to the memory stick or handheld ram. It will automatically be converted to the acceptable format. View with PG pocket on your Clie.

So I have to buy PictureGear 4.6 for my laptop? Then Pocket version on the Clie will read JPEGS?

NO. Load it from the CD
