Wireless..again confused

I spoke to T-Mobile. They told me that I would not need their service as long as I already have AOL at home, for wireless access on the Axim. I'm still really confused, since others have told me I would need some kind of cellular service. Also is there anything else I need to purchase for interent access, other than the modem card Dell sold me for 100 bucks?

Well lets see if I can help.............first lets back up the bus......
#1 when you mean wireless is it out side of your home or work i.e a network, 802. ect...if it is then you need a cell phone to connect to your ISP whom ever that is......now there are 3 ways you can connect to a cell phone #1 cable #2 blue tooth # 3 the cheapest way (because the Axim already has it built in) IR .So that my sound confusing but if you let me know what you mean I can help. I have used all three ways to connect to the internet.....................the best way is a blue tooth connection....you just need a cell phone that has blue tooth and buy a sd or cf blue tooth card and your on your way...........Tony
