Hello
Ahh well - i finally have my bluetooth memory stick.
As you might know - the BT MS is only availible in japanesse (it switches to english when its installed)
Now - i have no idea what to do. There were all these .prc files on the CD - which i loaded - but that causes fatal exemptions when i try to sync. (i want to get BT syncing working with my computer).
Does anyone know where to get info/manuals etc?
Anyone know what i can do?
thanks
Seb

hello
well pity noone could help....
some info that eventually i found out.
YOU NEED PALM OS 4.1 on your clie for the bluetooth memory stick to work.
If you have that - got to the folder on the setup CDROM with all the .prc files, and load them all onto your palm.
then - when you try to sync - make sure you have set hotsync manager to look for the right port. (got to setup, then the local tab). Your bluetooth spftware should be able to tell you which is the right port. (mine was port 15)
email me if you have questions.

Hi sebtek
I have been encountering a lot of problems trying to Hotsync between my Clie and a Vaio laptop using an MSB1 Bluetooth and
I keep getting told that COM port 4 is in use and unavailable at the current time. Cruising through various forums I am at least relieved to find that I am not alone with this problem.
You seem to have found a solution which does not require uninstalling and reinstalling the Palm Desktop software which I am loathe to do for fear of yet again corrupting all my data in Outlook and the Clie with duplicates that take hours to clean up.
I cannot seem to find any options using the tab that you have suggested.
Could you expand on the theme please. I am a simple person and look to you as a Saviour.
