I just bought a CF 56K V.90 Modem for my Dell Axium X5. I thought I could just hook it up to my phone line at home and get on line using my MSN account. I can't!
Is there a step by step method to set up my handheld properly? The instructions are horrible.

I have two accounts: One w/MSN and the other w/Juno (for my laptop)
How do I go about using either one of my accounts to connect my Dell handheld to the Inernet?
As always, any help the group offers is appreciated.
Have a safe and happy holiday season.

I just ordered an Axim X5. In the most basic language possible, can someone instruct me on the steps I will need to access the internet/e-mail.

I travel and would like to use it on the road. Can I connect directly through an ISP using a wireless card? Or...will I need to connect to my cell phone? If I connect to my cell phone, do I call in to a dial up ISP?

I am obviously a novice.

Thanks!

To answer both of your questions. Yes you can connect through the cell phone if you buy a cable, but remember, your connection will only be 14.4k. I would suggest buying a CF 56k modem for your PDA and connecting through a landline.
Here's a website that has FAQ on how to setup your account for your PDA. It also has a ton of other FAQ, excellent site.
