HELP PLEASE sleuth255 12-19-2002, 03:46 PM What exactly is your trouble? PALM MASTER 12-19-2002, 04:05 PM I cant download songs to a bigger card encapuchado 12-19-2002, 04:26 PM Well, I have a 128MB SD card and I have not any troubles with installing MP3 in it. Are you using the Install tool ? are there any error messages ? do you know if the files are in the card ? you can check they with the FileZ. If the files are in the card maybe the problem is with the player. I am using Aeroplayer with no problem. cheers, H. THX-1138 12-19-2002, 06:03 PM Did you format your new 128MB SD card? encapuchado 12-19-2002, 06:08 PM I only inserted the card and the TT recognized it. Ardee 12-20-2002, 01:50 AM Palm Master, I've had the same problem with my 128 meg card when I've tried to load music files, both mp3s and orgg files. The only way that I have found to make it work is to go to the Tungsten and open the music program then go back and try to hotsync. Sometimes I have to do this a couple or three times, then it take. I don't know what the problem is with the bigger cards but I've notice the problem with both Pocket Tunes and Aeroplayer, so it must be the card. I hope this helps. Ardee:rolleyes: PALM MASTER 12-20-2002, 01:40 PM I tryed all those things and they didn't work. I put them in the install tool and when they doaload it doesn't work. i cancell after 3 hours of syncing. mcaplan5 12-20-2002, 01:44 PM I did the same thing but, I am not having a problum. It might be a bad card? I got a Lexar 128MD Good Luck! encapuchado 12-20-2002, 02:22 PM Palm Master, my card is SanDisk and I have no problems with it. Its slow, sure, it takes 10-15 mins to sync a 4MB song. Try to sync only one file and if after 30 mins there is no answer, maybe the card is bad. PALM MASTER 12-20-2002, 02:56 PM It is my second card and second model carrd, it takes about 6 hours to sync a 4mg song. JEMShoe 12-20-2002, 10:01 PM I would really recomment that you get a $20-$30 SD/MMC Card reader (with USB). They are small, portable, and inexpensive. I can move 16mB of songs or docs in less than a minute. I never 'sync' ogg/mp3 files to my SD. Kasia 12-20-2002, 11:47 PM We just got one of those SD/MMC Card readers where I work because we need it for something else - our security guards have the students' pictures on their PDA's I was hoping I'd be able to use it for moving music/movie files more quickly. It just arrived yesterday so I haven't had time to try it yet. It was really inexpensive - $29.95 I think & I didn't shop around because our school only purchases from vendors who accept purchase orders. The programmer who works with us said they have them at Comp USA also. PDA Street
