Just letting you all know, I ordered my Axim yesterday, and when i checked out it said it would ship Dec. 30th. but today i got an email saying it shipped, so I'm excited.. Maybe its because I didn't get any accessories with it other than the sync cable. who knows.

I got a similar email a day after my order that turned out to be incorrect - a bug in the system of some kind. Hopefully you'll be luckier than I was.

They shipped mine on the 8th of Dec... but the original ship date was on the 17th. I recieved it on the 18... so in essence, it arrives close to the original arrival date.

When I ordered my Axim on November 28. It said I should have it by the 17th. I got an email on November 30 saying it was shipped. By the 8th I did not received it. So I emailed Dell. The reply was due to the free discount shipping,a system bug was sending out emails. But it was shipped on the 12th and I received it on the 16th.
Just stick to original shipping date .

Thanks for the info - that explains what happened. I also had the free shipping deal on my order.

Guess what, I got it today at 10 am, and it came with a leather case which i didn't order. Setting it up now, just thought i'd let you know.

It appears that Dell is speeding up the process. I ordered mine on the 18th and UPS Tracking shows that it will be here on the 23rd. Not bad. I order the 400 with 128 extra memory...

My order status now shows a FedEx tracking number, and it looks like I'll have my 300 with cradle on Monday, December 23. :D
