Running windows ME, Outlook 2000 and Psiwin 2.3.3. I have used one of the available additional fields in the psion "Work mobile" as I know some people with both work and personal mobiles, however I can not get this field to syncronise, even if I prepare outlook by ensuring it has a field of the same name. Called psion tech support and was informed not a psion problem but Outlook and no they didn't know how to do it but do have record of someone with a similar problem who resolved it via Microsoft, only thing is I can't find any relevant postings on Microsoft's web site.

The problem is that Outlook has no concept of "work" mobile. If you go to the All Fields tab in an OUtlook contact and then choose Phone Numbers from the drop down box, you'll see there are two mobile numbers, one called "Car Phone" and the other called "Mobile Phone". You have to decide which of these you are going to use for home and work. I use car phone for work mobile phone for home. PsiWin only picks up the mobile phone field. If you set up your label to match car phone, you may be able to pick up the other number. That being said, I've never had much success in picking up any extra fields from Outlook since it seems that PsiWin, when used with Outlook, only looks at a predetermined number of fields. By contrast, Lotus Organizer is easy to set up with new labels.

One answer is to put the additional mobile numbers in the notes field since that will always transfer.
