How can I turn off the auto on feature when the calendar, home etc buttons are pushed. This is driving me batty. I had a book pushing on my PDA case and it kept everything in on my travel bag. Battery was almost dead when I arrived at my meeting.

HELP!

In the "Settings" screen under "Brightness", go to Battery Power tab and uncheck the box for it to come on when a button is pressed or the screen is tapped.
That should help. Although there is nothing you can do about the power button itself if that is also the culprit.

:) Thanks for the help. I guess I just needed to dig a little deeper!

Actually, you shouldn't go to the <brightness> setting, this will only turn on the backlighting or not.

You should go to the <Power> setting, under the <control> tab you can set whether the device should turn on or not if a program button is pressed.

Hope this helps,
