I recently received a refurbished EM-500 at work, and while re-arranging shortcuts I somehow managed to kill the Notes, Tasks, Calendar, and Contacts in the ActiveSync program. (they show up but say "not installed" now) I did a hard reset, but they didn't come back, and also tried the CD but it wasn't an option. I can't figure out how to get them available on ActiveSync again. The EM-500 will let me add notes/tasks/appointments/contacts to these programs, but they don't sync up. Help?

Also, I am looking at getting an expansion card, 128MB, secure digital - will these work with the EM-500?

I can't exactly figure out your question. Please reply to the following questins.

1. Are the specified applications available on the EM-500 after hard reset ? (Forget about the synch part.)

2. Do the same applications show up on the ActiveSynch Window on the desk top ? (Again forget about the synch part)

If the answer to both is yes there are 2 ways of doing it.

1. Click on the option button on the ActiveSynch window & check mark all the items you want synchronised.

2. Remove the device from the cradle. Delete the partnership WITHOUT deleting the synchronised files & folders. Place the device on the cradle & setup a fresh partnership & every thing should go back to normal.

One thing you have to watch out for is that make absolutely sure that you have complete restorable backup of your Outlook data. It just might happen that asctive Synch will dlete all the files on the DeskTop. I have had this happen to me once.
