Hello everyone, I'm using an HP 728. Anyone know how to specify which sound plays when you receive an email? Pocket inbox only has a "play a sound when new mail arrives" checkbox, but doesn't have a browse button where you can choose it.

Is this a registry hack, possibly?

Thanks.

It's been a while since I used a HPC but from memory you can go to Sounds in Control Panel and select what sound plays for each event.

Cheers

Thanks for the reply, Andrew, but Bill Gates somehow didn't think to include the mail event in the Sounds Control Panel applet. Wasn't that nice of him. I've got a real nice email .wav from the Thief game that I'd like to use. Damn!

You might want to consider using NPOP (http://www.nakka.com/soft/npop/index_eng.html)

It supports html mail messages and also allows you to select the sound file to play with incoming mail using the "NewMailSoundFile" attribute in its .ini file.

I use it instead of pmail for realtime mail yet still sync my work PC using pmail.
