Beaming Documents From Pc To Palm

Looking for help on beaming from pc to palm, them syncronizing with cradle to another pc. My thinkpad successfully recognized that there is another ir device nearby and attempt to beam a document, however my palm does not recognize the document. What I am looking to do is use my palm as a disk whereby I could beam from my thinkpad notebook and then hot sync to my desktop using my cradle. I do not want to install software on the thinkpad but am willing to do so on the desktop.

Sounds like you will need something like PalmHandZipper (check out PalmGear) to get your Palm to accept a ZIP file from your Thinkpad. Once you transfer the file into your desktop, you can unzip it, I suppose.

Your Palm will not recognize a "Doc" file. You need to try and beam a file that is recognized such as a QuickWord or WordSmith file.
