unzip file for revo - winzip - no file type ?

I am downloading .zip files fine but when I unzip it with winzip it has no file type and will not install with my install program - If I download a non .zip file it will install just fine. Thank you, Don

I am not sure that I understand you - what zipped archives are you downloading?

If the files within the archive are already in native EPOC format, they may not have an extension and would simply be copied across to the Psion without installation or conversion.

Also, your PC may have Windows Explorer configured so that it doesn't show extensions for recognised file types, which might hide the .SIS on installation files.

The other possibility is that the files have been zipped with RMRZip (or it might be a zip application from Neuon). I haven't used this application but understand there is an option to zip files in an unconventional format which WinZip doesn't support.

Hi Mike,

I think I got it. I see that when using the .sis file it will install on its own. When using other files I unzip - I needed to copy (drag and drop) on to my EPOC in to a folder. Then I needed to install the Emulator that would run the files. Then start the emulator and open the file with it. I just thought that they all were to install and run as easy as the .sis files.
