To be honest, there are many scratch marks/scuff marks on the back of the unit and on the corners. There are some light scratches on the screen and some major ones in the "abc" part of the graffiti area...A screen protector may be able to help with the scratches on the graffiti area. *THE PALM STILL RECOGNIZES THE WHOLE ALPHABET* although sometimes you do need to re-write something.The unit is FULLY FUNCTIONAL! It comes with a modem for use on the internet..i.e check e-mail, go on AIM,etc. Also comes with an 8mb memory safe module. The unit comes with the cradle for connectivity to your computer and the charger.Also comes with the original manual and 1 stylus.
