hey i just recieved my pocket solution cover-up and i was just wondering if anyone else has one. mine doesn't have a hole for the d-pad but everything else about it i really like. the cover itself matches the color of the tungsten farely well. i had the eb case but i really didn't like it because it made my tungsten really thick and hard to carry around in my pants.

Howdy!
Does the case feel firm to the squeeze? Do you feel like if it accidentally was dropped and/or stepped on, it would survive and thrive? Can you charge The TT with the case on? If not, does the case cover the Universal Connector thingy? Can you utilize the slider function without a buncha awkwardness? Matching color aside, how much thickness does it add to the overall form factor?
I'm asking because I wanna nice, tough cover that'll cover the Connector, let me slide when I wanna slide, will close tightly and firmly when I want it closed and will protect with flying colors my PDA in case of mishap. I had a titanium RhinoSkin with my m505 and it was just splendidness. It was dropped, stepped on, and ended up in the most unusual situations, and came out a champion, so I'm interested to see if your solution will work for me.
Until then, I'll stick with the Plastic freebie thingy that nearly everyone else seems to hate, but I think is kinda cool. And I do have good taste, dammit!!:D
Cheers,

hey the cover-up pretty much works to cover the screen. i would compare it to the sony clie 615 leather cover thing that comes with it. you can sync with the cover-up on and it is pretty hard (it's made out of aluminum, i believe). the case you might be interested in is the eb case. i had one and it seemed to protect my tungsten but to me the sliding up for the graffiti was awkward. i also thought it was a little too thick. but for protection, it would do wonders. happy holidays!

Hey, I'd like to check out this "pocket solution cover-up". Can someone provide a link? Who makes it?

Can anyone explain to me why there's a hole in the cover for the D-Pad? I don't get it.
And, hey Kasia, love the cute kitties! =^..^= :D
(and thanx for the link)

The hole for the Dpad is more likely there to prevent accedental power ons. If this item covered the Dpad it is very likely that the cover would press into the select button on the Dpad enough to turn it on.
just IMHO.

Glad you like the cats, Clare!:)
I don't know what's up with the D-pad... I thought the original post by PhromGroundUp said that his didn't have a hole. Maybe he can clarify.

yeah on their website the tungsten cover-up has holes for the d-pad. when i received mine it didn't have the hole for the d-pad. i emailed a sales rep about it and here's his reply:
We received so many requests to have the hole removed that we decided to let majority rule. This was a change that the manufacturer had to make mid-stream, so we did not have a picture to post on the site. While it does stick up a bit on the bottom, we felt that it was acceptible. If you would like, we are able to put the hole in yours if you would like to send it back to us. Sorry for the confusion.
Happy New Year,
Mike DiLeo
my cover-up didn't stick up much but i did stick a foam stopper thing(a thicker double stick tape would work if you cut it small enough) below the d-pad so the cover-up doesn't touch the d-pad at all and it works great!
