Anyone know how to make this senario work? I have a PC with a NIC and a WiFI and a PPC with a WiFI. The PC is connected to a LAN with an internet connection. I like to connct my PPC to the internet via the PC. Any experience out there?

Just got a wifi cf card for my ipaq and a wifi usb adapter for main pc.

Go to connection settings on pocketpc and modify the work settings so it can connect to your pc. While under the work settings make sure to check the box labeled This network connects to the internet. This will be listed under proxy settings. DO not check the box that says to use a proxy.

Next go back to beginning and where it says when needed automatically connect to the internet.... change it from Internet Settings to Work Settings.

Now you should be all set.

If it still isnt working you need to add the server name (host pc) .
The host pc name can be found by clicking on control panel then network settings then clicking on the wfi adapter then support. The IP address is what you want to enter. That is what I did to get mine working.

Unfortunately ActiveSync would not work until I got PocketHosts and entered my main PC name and ipadress in . Now all is well.

If you need a better tutorial go to Pocketpcpassion.com hit the forums and search for 802.11b
