Greetings;

First you must be running PPC2002 and then you go to
Start>Settings on the personal tab click on Today. On that screen there will be an area at the top that instructs you in how to customize the today screen. In the box that has the themes on the unit select on and tap OK. it should then appaer on your today screen. Also you must have loaded some themes on your unit or there will be only the default one to select from.
Try this website for themes.

Themes (http://www.pocketthemes.com/)

Hope this helps

It is possible to install themes on a Pocket PC 2000 device if you first install a third party application such as Pocket facelift. You can purchase the program at Handango's web site. The URL is http://www.handango.com.

The program also adds 2002 like controls. It is a great program!

Greetings:

If you want to run themes just upgrade to PPC 2002 Here's the link.
Upgrade (http://www.directplus.compaq.com/dstore/default.asp?page=option&SuperCategoryID=33&SuperCatDesc=Handhelds+and+Options&CategoryID=1259&ComponentId=12007&ParentId=30&ParentDesc=Options&oi=E9CED&BEID=19701&SBLID=)

Pocket facelift is $14 to purchase for only $15 more ($29 total) you can purchase the PPC2002 upgrade from Compaq and have that and more. I have done so months ago and have done so to the wifes with no problems. There might be some freeware to run the themes out there on PPC2000 but I have not looked to hard myself.

Hope this helps.

Simply copy the *.tsk file to the \Windows directory on the PPC. Then use Settings, Today to select the theme from the list. Be sure to check the box Use this picture as the background; otherwise the theme will only appear in the Start menu drop-down.
