in response to james miller's announcement about the new
changes to the site, i do agree the site needed some
trimming around the edges but not like this.

i still feel that having individual boards for each pda was
unique and helpful in navigation. there were plenty of
boards that could and should have been taken off the
site as not very useful without removing all the boards
and it's content.

being a moderator of many of the boards that use to
exist, i still do not feel that this will cut down on posts
that "fell through the cracks" as james put it.

if ebay can implement a system for weeding out the bad
and making sure they cannot re-register on the system,
i feel pdastreet could have done the same. i may be wrong
as pdastreet may not have the financial resources or
otherwise as ebay has but i do know how easy it was to
suspend a user only to have them resign up again without
a problem.

just my two cents.

whether you agree with me or not i must admit i won't be
sorry to see you go.

you have been nothing but a immature childish troublemaker
this site can do without change or no change.

I like the new board format, but the choices went to an extreme. There are two things I really like about this new format (which is used by so many sites). 1. A new post to a thread automatically brings it to the top making it easy to scan for the lastest stuff 2. You can see the entire thread in one click.

What I don't understand is why all the info was just deleted as so many users have pointed out. I also don't understand the extremes. Previously, yes, Palmblvd did have a lot of boards that could use some trimming (One Clie T-series board would have sufficed instead of having additional boards for T615, T665, etc.) But one board for ALL Palm OS products is nuts!
