transfer images

Hi , the problem I am having with my dell axim 5
Is when I transfer files from my desktop computer?
To my axim everything is fine, but when I transfer images
From my desktop to my dell the images do not show
Up …. Please help if you can…

Are you trying to transfer them onto a memory card? If you are, make sure you creat a folder on your memory card called MY DOCCUMENTS. The transfer the images onto your folder. Also there are formats that don't transfer well. I believe you can only transfer JPEGs, but not BMPs.

Just save the BMP's as JPEGs with any graphics program. BMP's take up too much memory anyhow.

do i have to have a menory card to transfer imgaes
i cant just transfer from desk top to my dell pockect pc

On the installation disk from Dell is a free image viewer from Rosco and so far it has worked very well. I have taken photos off my wife's sd card placed it into my Axim viewed the photos and then copied some of them into one of my MY Documents folders flawlessly.
