Couple of General Questions

1) I know when I send messages from my 950 to other 950 or 957 users, I get the 'D' for delivered and 'R' for read. Does this work when 950/957 users send messages to RIM users of the 850/857 breed on the Motient network?

2) Anyone know anything to try on units that have a couple of horizontal lines missing on the display?

The only thing that you can try on the device to fix your lcd screen is going into screen/keboard settings in options and mess with the screen contrast. If that does not work , the only thing left is to reinstall os or even a restart in the pin hole in the back of the device. But usually , the os or restart will not be a high percentage fix. If the LCD is missing lines than it is missing lines and will have to be repaired or exchanged with whom you purchased the device from.
