zire error help

I am a new palm user and need help with an error message. I click on NotePad and get the following error (the data storage of the handheld is full) I have 815k 0f 1.8m .Can I expand the data storage memory on this sucker ? Any info will be helpful............

I know I cannot do this externally. Can I expand allowed memory for different applications? that's what I meant to ask.........

Please read the following thread for a discussion on how to upgrade the memory of the Zire to 8mb. I don't know if you are interested in doing so, but its possible.

I read that thread. That's a little much for me.It would be easier for me to replace the Zire.Thank you anyway though...............
