Can't Logon PDAStreet with NEC 770

I can't seem to get past the user logon prompt for PDAStreet using my NEC 770. I get an object not found error. I don't have this problem on my PC or Mac. I suppose I have run into a version problem or a configuration problem. Anyone using their 770 to directly logon to these forums?

Most likely an script problem with the browser and the html
code used on PDAStreet.com.

Try www.han-d-solutions.com and see if you can access that
forum site. If you can then it's specific to pdastreets.

If you cann even get onto Technobrains.com (http://www.technobrains.com) Then it's an issue with the browser you
have for Windows CE on your NEC.

You could be having a SSL issue. Have you installed the 128bit upgrade patch? I know that many folks (including me) have encountered plenty of similar problems on Hotmail, Yahoo, etc., due to the SSL issue.

You can get the SSL upgrade from either one of the following:

Don't be fooled by the description saying it's for Pocket IE version 3.0...that's the version of PIE that comes with CE 2.11. They (Microsoft) just mess up the version numbers to confuse us into buying PocketPCs. :p

I have 128 bit SSL stashed away in my library of 'someday' useful things. I do not have it installed. I will give it a try. Thanks.

Well, I got around to downloading the 128 bit version of schannel.dll to my 770, did a soft reset, and retried to log into PDAStreet. No luck. I get the same 'object not found' error. If anyone is using their NEC Mobilepro 770 to log on to the board directly, I would appreciate hearing about it. Otherwise, I'm going to assume that I can't do it.

It appears to be a compatibility issue with the forum script used here and the browser that comes with CE 2.11. I can no longer login, reply, or post here though my MP750c (running CE 2.11) either, but this was not always the case. I know that I could access the forum with the old software and I'm 99% postitive that I have accessed this forum running the new software, too. I tried deleting my Cookies database (it is recreated on reboot or running PocketIE) and made sure my cache was clear. The funny part is that it was very apparent that I had successfully logged in before because the forum knew exactly who I was because I must have checked the "remember me" box or whatever at my last login.

Anyway, I posted a message on the moderator forum and will hopefully get back a solution. It does seem a tad ironic that a HPC support forum doesn't allow HPCs to login, post, or reply, doesn't it?!

I also reported that the webmaster@pdastreets.com email address is invalid and reports back with no such username (for any who have tried this).
