Hi all

Yep another "it is quicker on my 3mx" type of post.

Opening a memo attached to an agenda entry merely rqd a ctrl<+>+ entry .

On my 5mx I CAN ONLY SEEM TO OPEN A WORD OBJECT BY TAPPING ON THE AGENDA ENTRY THEN ANOTHer tap on the word object itself once a dialog box has opened (in fact there might even be a double tap involved).

question is again is there a quicker/easuer way and is there a quick keyboard alternative to using the stylus ?

Thanks

Stef

Stef,

No, this is just like the Series 3 but with different keys. If you go to the Edit, Edit Object menu, you'll see Word with the menu shortcut Shift+Ctrl+z. This works to either add a Word object or edit an existing Word object.

One of the good things about the Psion is that it lists the keyboard shortcuts on almost all the menu items. Admittedly, some are a little obtuse but, once you remember them, you can use your Series 5 and almost never use the stylus.

Stef,

The shortcuts aren't in the manual although they are listed on most of the menus. There's a good web site at http://www.pscience5.net/index.htm that has a list of many of the shortcuts as well as wealth of Psion information in general.

Stef,

You're quite welcome. Also check out http://www.ericlindsay.com/epoc/mkeys5.htm , which has a very good list of almost all the shortcut keys for the various Psion programs.

BTW, I charge extra to be a personal guru<g>.
