EM-500 Conection Problem

I have Casio EM-500 Pocket PC and I have some problems with it. They are…



- when I synchronize my contacts from outlock XP it disconnect the conection to the PC via USB

- when I try to install any software it give me error :



Cannot copy the destination file. Make sure the disk on the mobile device is not full or write protected,

and that all setup programs on the device are completed

I make the comection via USB on windows XP with ActiveSync 3.1

The title says it all.

Then you should be OK once you upgrade Activesync to V3.6
and then get the latest USB driver for your system.

I install ActiveSync 3.6 with latest USB Drivers for my motherboard(Abit BD7II)

and Still nothing. sometimes it begins to sync some of the contacts and synchronize one or 5 conntacts and that is all . and Still siting on the Sync mode...

There have been issues with Em-500's USB adapter in the cradle. If your device is still within warranty period I suggest you contact Casio to upgrade the pcb in the cradle to solve your problems.

I have successfully connected EM-500 with upgraded cradle to XP & ActiveSynch 3.1.
