OZ-800

Can anyone confirm my suspicion that the security function of the OZ-800 has been incorrectly implemented. I recently bought a Wizard OZ-800 and I'm extremely disappointed with the security function. The manual for OZ-800 says that if you mark some data as secret and then set a password, only the secret data will be hidden. However, once a password has been applied to hide the secret data and the system has been restarted, you are required to enter the password to access the system and get any of your data. Unless I'm missing something, this implementation of the security function is ridiculous -- Why bother to mark individual data entries as secret when setting a password locks the system and effectively renders all data secret? I also own a Sharp YO-520 and the security function on that model only requires that you enter the password if you want to look at the secret data. I called Sharp's Tech Support and was told by two different reps that, "All the Wizards require the password at startup." Can anyone verify that all Wizards require the password at startup?
