I upgraded from win98 to winXP Home.
I installed my hotsync manager and desktop software and was able to successfully sync.-- ONE TIME.
I use serial port COM2. I've checked the device manager, the device is working normally.
I took my palmV to work and tried to sync there. It works fine on a WinNT. So I know my pda is functional.
I am using outlook express. -- But not to sync. Is there anything there that might be hogging the serial port?
Is there another way to test it?
I've tried the "hyperterminal" test.
I've even re-installed windowsXP.
I've downloaded the latest palm desktop and hotsync manager too.
