Ok, I am new to this group, but have enjoyed reading various posts so I decided to register. ANyway, I have a question. I was reading in some posts about splashphoto, and that it is a good idea to install FATFS. My question is, what exactly IS FATFS, and what does it do? Thanks!

FATFS is an update that Palm put out for Palm OS4.0 because there were some problems on the M505 when you tried to read an SD card greater than 32MEG. This small program was incorporated into Palm OS 4.1 so if you are running Palm OS 4.1 you do not need it and should not install it as it will cause major conflicts.

I would presume that wherever you heard about installing it if you were using SplashPhoto would have been for the reason of reading and using larger SD cards since photos can tend to take a lot of space.

PS -- I just checked the Palm site because I was not sure and the FATFS update is only listed for the M125 in the 1xx series.
