Silly question, but where in the world can I add a 9 for an outside line from a hotel room?

Not a silly question at all - you just need to know where to look.

To make sure you are set up correctly, from the System screen go into Control Panel > Dialling, and select current location as "Office". Providing that the default setting has not been changed, you should see the "9" specified there as part of the sample number to be dialled.

Assuming that is OK, then when you go to the "Connect to Internet" dialogue and select "Office" in the "From Location" box, the number should be dialled correctly.

If you want to be really stylish, you can go back to Control Panel and set yourself up a dialling profile called "Hotel" (or whatever!) Likewise, should you find that the default "9" setting has been changed (unlikely) you can edit it.

Hope that helps
Julie
