Internet Username PPC 2002 Bug

Hi, just wanted to tell everybody of a bug i think i found in the PPC 2002 OS (iPAQ 3835). I tried to connect to the internet with my CF modem only to find that i cannot connect using a username that contains the "@" character. I changed my username through my ISP and zap! i was in momentarily. Has anyone had the same experience?

I think the networking in PPC2K2 has the same restriction as NETBIOS on Windows 3. I've been using a username containing a space for 4 years and when I tried to use VPN and connect using that username, I always failed. When I used a username that was "normal" -- under 14 characters with no non-alphabetic characters, the connection was established with no problems.
