Hi,
Is there a difference between the screen of the SJ30 and the T665? i read in ZDnet that the SJ30 is 2.9 inch and reflective, and the T665 is 3.0 inch and translective...???
I did not see these differences anywhere else, including the SONY specs for these models.
Thanks!!!

Hi,
I own both the SJ30 and the T665. In my opinion, both have the same screen (same size, same resolution). If you put one device next to the other, you can notice that the T665's screen has a light bluish tint, which is unperceivable when you don't have a SJ30 to compare with.
Hope this helps!

Fernando,
Thanks for the information.
I asked SonyStyle.com the same question. This is their reply:
"The T665C features a high-resolution (320x320-pixel) transflective LCD that is the best that on any PDA. The display is razor-sharp with especially rich colors. A transflective screen uses a traditional backlight for dim situations and also reflects ambient light from the front, making it easy to read in very bright sunlight.
The PEG-SJ30 features a use a reflective LCD."
It's not exactly clear, but it means there is a difference, especially in strong sun light conditions (T665 is better).
From your answer, i understand you like the SJ30 screen better?
Thanks again.

Hi,
Well, if I had to choose, I think the screen on the SJ30 looks a bit better. But maybe this is just a matter of personal preference. The best advice I can give you is that both screens look very much the same, and I don't believe there exists a "real" difference for a common user - like me! In other words, in my opinion the screen shouldn't be the decision criteria for someone who has to select between the SJ30 and the T665.
Sincerely, Fernando.
