Can only sync Inbox.. nothing else

I just got an iPAQ h1910 and have installed ActiveSync. I have Outlook 2000 and have successfully synchronized the emails in my inbox but cannot sync anything else--tasks,calendar, contacts, notes. I went to Options on my desktop Activesync to adjust the settings but there aren't even any checkboxes next to Calendar or contacts to allow me to select those functions.

I called Compaq who advised me that I need to set up a personal profile on Outlook for it to work, and that I should talk to my ISP provider about it. However, I am doing this on my work computer which is on my work network and our not helpful helpdesk don't support PDA/PocketPCs. (Even though the main reason I got the iPAQ was because I travel a lot and need have my schedule and other people's contact details handy!)

When you first install Active sync just right after the partnership it asks you with the check boxes . reinstall and watch very close it will and does come up . if you have you inbox sync then you had to see the boxes..

I saw those checkboxes when I installed Activesync.. but only Favorites, PocketAccess, Inbox, Files and Avantgo had checkboxes next to them. The others - Calendar, Notes, Contacts and Tasks - were also listed but no checkboxes :( It must be some setting on my desktop I need to change, maybe??

You can change those . i only use inbox and files. those are only defalut choices. you click the ones you want..
