D-drive not found

I have a strange problem with my 7book.

The Netbook wont find my D-drive. At first I thought it was a hardware failure or a bad connection. But its not !

When I boot my 7book with an OS it does find the CF on drive D, and loads the OS. But after that nothing is found, and I have to use the E-drive with a CF-converter. So apparantly its some kind of sofware fault.

Any clues ?

Not had this problem occur to me. What version of the OS have you got installed? What manufacturer/size of CF are you using? Can you try any other Cf cards?

The fact that the D: is recognised to install the OS, would indicate a software problem. Have you tried a soft reset, I'd hold off on the hard reset for the time being.

When you connect your 7book to a PC with the CF card installed, can you see the D drive then?
