Hello all,
I've just bought a Palm M515 a few days ago.
I've installed the softaware at home and everything works OK. At home I use Outlook express. The problem is that at work we use Lotus Notes Release 5. In the software provided by Palm there is no utilities for Syncronise with Lotus. I asked in the shop where I bought the PDA and they told me that I could download an utility for doing that (Easysync from Lotus) but I don't find that in the Palm website.
Some advise about which is the best software for doing that and where to find it would be great.
Thanks and regards from Spain !

For Lotus R5, you'll need either easysync from Lotus which you can download at www.lotus.com or Intellisync from Pumatech at www.pumatech.com
I personally use Intellisync but you will need to pay for either program. Palm doesn't offer a free conduit for syncing with Notes.
By the way, don't be surprised if your syncronization with Notes is more troublesome than with Outlook. Notes is a troublesome product particularly with repeating events and revisions to calendar entries. This is not a Palm or Intellisync issues but rather a problem with the underlying Notes product.

I suggest you use EasySync. I believe you can obtain it free of charge from the IBM.com website, and it will replace the conduits for your current address book, datebook, etc. It also may be included on your Lotus Notes R5 CD. Check there first. Hope this helps!

Hi,
we're using XTNDconnect from Extended Systems, which is a server based software. A software that has access the domino server (especially to your mail database) is installed on the same server or another server.
You get a client on your palm that connects to the XTND Software (this also works fine if you like to sync your datebook or emails with your handy when you're on travell). It doesn't replace the hotsync, you can use both.
It only has problems when you sync datebook and/or mail with another application (Palm Desktop or Outlook), too.

I use PDASynch from laplink, an end-user version of XTNDconnect technology. It was only about $15.00 US. I have used Easysync and Intellisync in the past, PDASynch is much more reliable, and usable. It can synch with Notes (R4 or R5), the PALM Desktop, and works well for both my M515 and Ipaq.
