I have a question about the jogdial on the Dell Axim. When the jogdial is pushed in, is it supposed to "click"? When I press mine in I hear and feel it click. I hope that this is normal. It seems kind of tough to pudh it in to begin with and if it is normal, maybe it will get better, it could be stiff.
Thanks!
Hank

Some people have reported that their Jog Dial isn't working properly and feels "squishy". If you think you have that problem, then call Dell for a replacement unit

I want to make sure that we are talking about the same "JogDial". I am speaking about the one on the side of the unit. The main D Pad is fine.

are you supposed to be able to "push in" the d-pad on the front of the unit too, to select somethign on the screen?

I have noticed that if you press the jog dial in it will select whatever is highlighted on the screen. If you have the programs screen up you can move the jog dial to find the program you want and then press the jog dial in to activate the program.
I hope that helps.

I just got off the phone with tech support. I thought that I would never get through!
I was told that the clicking is normal for the side jogdial. As for the D pad, it is supposed to have a soft feel, like a tv remote. I guess if yours is really loose you may want to have it looked at. Also, the D pad does not have a select feature even though it feels like it.
