HELP, I AM RIPPING MY HAIR OUT!
I have been searching in vein for UK and europe maps that will work with Microsoft Pocket Streets 2001, and microsoft (how selfish of them) have taken down all theirs, and MPS 2002 maps wont work with MPS 2001 (MPS = Microsoft Pocket streets).
I found one really crappy site with hardly any maps on it, but nothing else!
PLEASE HELP ME :(

Do a search on the board listed below - they have a site for 2002 maps, but there are some 2001 and there are some links to guys that can make maps for you - if they have the original on hand.

Have you checked out the Tom-Tom Route Planner and Tom-Tom City Maps?
The cover all of Europe, including 100.000 cities.
What is it? is it a web site, or something I have to pay for?!?
is there a url i can visit?

It is software/search for "tom-tom route planner" and you will get some sites with info. haven't found their website as yet.

Yes, they are excellent. You get one CD with all countries in Europe and another with 100.000 cities. You can download to your PDA the countries and cities of interest to you.
