I do a lot of installing and removing of applications on my m515. I am concerned that when I remove an app not all of the associated files are removed with it. Is there an application that would tell me what files are assoicated with what apps or better yet identify orphan files?

Yes there is. myWorkbench will let you manage orphan files. It will list all the databases in ram that doesn't belong to any application. You can then delete the database. But becareful since system maybe using some orphaned dbs.

here is the link to myWorkbench www.toysoft.ca/mywb4.html

I think you are missing the point here. FileZ only shoulds you the creator id and does not list all the databases that are orphaned. Unless I'm wrong. I can't find an orphan feature in fileZ.

I have both Filez and myWorkbench.

If you want to make sure you have deleted all "leftover" files then purchase myWorkbench...it is well worth the money.

Filez is good for looking at file size, moving and deleting...but if you want to make sure you have cleaned up your palm completely get myWorkbench.

What I like best is that when you delete files, myWorkbench saves them on your card in a "recycle bin" called Magic Bin. In case you delete something by mistake, you can always reinstall it from Magic Bin.

Hope this helps.
