Hi Everyone,
I have had a hunt around and have one or two things to try, but I was wondering what people's experience of handwriting recognition software is for EPOC.
I have a Series 7 and would love to be able to flip it open, hold it at 90 degrees to normal, this second part is not essential :) and write notes on the screen.
Any tips gratefully received.
Steve.
I'd just like to echo this interest. I've occasionally browsed to Atelier Software's Calligrapher page, but the £75 price tag always puts me off - and no trial version :( This is the only 'natural handwriting' recogniser for EPOC that I'm aware of - anybody know of another?
There are a few 'Grafiti-like' apps out there, but I am NOT interested in learning a new character set just to be able to 'write' one character at a time...

This is the one I am trying to trial.

The trial version downloads the Windows edition not the EPOC, so I have emailed them. Mind you its only a $9.90, so how bad does it have to be :)
Multilingual too, allegedly.

Ignore that last post. I knew it was too good to be true. It simply transcribes not recognises.

You could have a look at smARTwriter:
http://www.artcomp.com/index_products.htm
It claims to have an implementation for EPOC. I have no personal experience of this, and am never likely to, since I find the netBook keyboard perfect for my needs, and I could never write as quickly as I can type.
