Patch for the Navigation Button

Dell put out a patch for your Nav button on 8 Jan 2003. This enables a 5 Button function. (Strait down is your action) FYI

Does this resolve the spongy feel of the action? Way to soft when I tried a display model.

No, that is just caused by the inherant danger of being a display model, and the design. The one I received, at first I thought it was broken. It works fine. No "Enter" action. That is what the driver is for. Good luck. It takes some "surfing on Dell's pages to find. Don't remember how I quite got there. Another post on this forum has an FTP link.

I went to dell web site but I dont see any posting about patch. Did you download the patch & from where?

www.dell.com then service and support. Click on the drop down menu for devices. choose the ax, the announcement is on the top of the page that follows. I have not been able to load onto PDA. Out of home, USB doesn't recegnize my Ax, and disk is at home.
