IIIc for parts

Greetings,
Could anyone out there recommend the best way to obtain a replacement battery for my IIIc??
I have heard that this replacement could cost as much as $100 when this is done by sending the unit directly to Palm.com.
Any help or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Look at Gethightech.com or search eBay for "Palm IIIc battery". Gethightech.com has step by step instructions on how to take your Palm apart and remove the battery.

I too recommend gethightech.com for a new battery. They are very quick and very quality conscious.
