Hey,

I have problems in using the MS Import Utility Programm. If I connect to the PC I get the following message: "Check connection with host ".
Does anybody know any help for me how to connect to my PC. The PC runs under Win XP. Do I have to change any settings on my PC or Clié ?

I had the same problem with my 760C for a while then it stopped syncing and everything. If you have to change setting it would have to be with the computer. First right click on the hotsync icon on your task bar and check if local USB is checked. If your using Serial click on setup in the hotsync menu and click on the local tab and see if the com setting is the same as the one your clie is set up to. This might help.

If you call sony they can help you with more extensive setting checks. You can get their number of the sonystyle site under the support tab. I called them and it turned out I had a bad cradle. After a few frustrating hours talking to a non-english speaking phone person I finally got to someone who told me I can have a box sent to me free of charge if under warrantee. After that the box came fast, it was easy to set up and send, and the box came back fast. The clie worked flawlessly after that.
